My homemade Montreal Steak Seasoning recipe from scratch creates the tastiest and juiciest steaks around.
It's easy to make - then store it in the pantry. Start the grill and let's get started...
I use this Montreal Steak seasoning on burgers, steaks, even on home fries for a little extra flavor. Once you try this seasoning, you will see why it has become a staple in my kitchen.
4 TBS smoked sea salt
1 TBS black pepper
1 TBS onion powder
1 TBS garlic powder
1-1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
1-1/2 tsp dried thyme
1-1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1-1/2 tsp dried fennel
Mix together and store in a shaker. Shake or rub 1 tablespoon seasoning onto steaks, pork chops or hamburgers before grilling.
This wonderful steak seasoning is a copycat of Outback Steakhouse steak seasoning that is all over the internet. If you are going to freeze the steaks, just sprinkle this on both sides before you put them in the freezer. Works great on hamburgers, pork chops and chicken.
