Have you ever grilled bananas? This is a must-do. Serve with vanilla ice cream, caramel, nuts or whipped cream.
6 firm bananas, do not peel
2 TBS freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
PREHEAT grill to medium low heat.
Leave the peel on the bananas and slice down the length of the banana to make two long halves.
Brush lemon juice on the bananas cut side. Mix the sugar and the cinnamon together and cover the bananas sliced side with the sugar mixture.
Place on the grill cut side (sugared) side down and cook 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from the grill, peel and serve with ice cream, caramel sauce, nuts and whipped cream.
