Looking forward to sharing my easy quiche recipes. My favorite is my seafood quiche – so rich and cheesy. Its a cinch to make and bakes up beautifully.
Seafood Quiche Recipe
4 large eggs
1-1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
freshly ground black pepper
12 oz Co-Jack cheese, freshly grated
1/2 cup dried cooked spinach*
8 to 12 oz lobster (shrimp, crab. etc), I used imitation lobster
9 inch deep dish pie crust, unbaked (Pillsbury or Ritz frozen)
*thaw out frozen spinach and put a handful (little over half cup) in a towel and roll to remove all of the liquid. You may add more if you wish.
Put eggs and heavy whipping cream in a mixing bowl and beat for a few seconds until combined. Add garlic and onion powder, salt and freshly ground black pepper. And mix a few seconds. Add remaining ingredients and process for 5 seconds or until spinach is mixed evenly throughout. Slowly pour into pie crust and place on a baking sheet.
PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees.
Bake quiche for 15 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 300 degrees and bake an additional 50 to 55 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center of the quiche comes out clean.
