Rotenone (Darris Plant) Gets rid of Asian Beetles OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE. Mix with water or sprinkle around the home. Kills beetles, insects, earthworms and fish.
Fleas/Ticks
Natural Flea Collar: Soak a dog or cat collar in citrus oil with a few drops of lavender oil and lemon slices with water. Soak overnight and completely dry before putting on your pet.
Purchase a Vitamin B supplement from your vet. It works from the inside out.
Or Irish Spring Soap (or peppermint soap) Grind and sprinkle around.
Use a few drops of lavender oil in the pet’s bedding.
Flies and Mosquitoes
Put fresh basil and catnip in a muslin (porous) bag and hang two around the house.
Mosquitoes when Grilling
Put fresh rosemary and bay leaves on top of the lit coals to keep the bugs away.
Spiders
Spray the corners of your home with white vinegar and coconut oil in a sprayer. Use outside also.

Cats, Rabbits, Skunks, Raccoons
Use a mild solution of pneumonia and water around garbage cans. Red pepper and black pepper also works for cats and rabbits.
Rabbits (with pets around) Plant wormwood (in nurseries) by your garden and outdoor plants. They are allergic to it. Or again sprinkle black or red pepper where they are.
In your Garden Plant molasses grass around the garden.
Mice, Squirrels Real peppermint oil on a cotton ball or 1/2 tsp in a spray bottle with water.
Cock Roaches
Use 2 TBS Tabasco or Hot sauce with water and spray.
Ants
Wash your counters with a mild solution of white vinegar and water. Do this every 3-4 weeks. Put bay leaves in all of the drawers in your kitchen.
Outside – Make a bait of wet cat food, a little boric acid and grape jelly.
Moles, Gophers and Ground Hogs
Buy a small transistor radio ($2-3) and leave it on a music station. Drop the radio down the entrance of the hole.
You can use a hot chile pepper. Or you can place of stick of Juicy Fruit gum in the hole – this binds up their intestines and kills them.
You can use a small piece of chocolate laxative or peppermint oil on a cotton ball.
Bees
In a soda liter bottle, leave 2 inches of pop in it (not diet pop). They go in and can’t get out.
Bugs - Indoor Plants
Peel a clove of garlic and insert it in the soil with the thin side just peeking out of the soil.

Plant molasses grass around the garden.
The one thing that's bothers me is the fruit flies and gnats. Following is a quick recipe to get rid of these pests.
FRUIT FLY and GNAT TRAP
3-4 TBS apple cider vinegar saran wrap 2 drops liquid dish soap rubber band
In a small jar, add the vinegar and dish soap. Cover with plastic wrap and rubber band it in place. Poke holes in the saran wrap with a shish kabob stick. Change the vinegar every couple of days. No more fruit flies!
3/4 cup homemade mayonnaise 1/4 cup homemade cherry conserve 1/2 tsp curry powder 1/4 tsp salt 12 ounces crushed pineapple, well drained and squeezed dry 1/4 tsp lemon juice 2 cups finely chopped cooked chicken 1 cup finely diced celery 1/2 cup sliced green onion
First combine the mayonnaise, chutney, curry powder and salt. Add remaining ingredients - chill before serving.
