Best Taco Casserole Recipe

Grab this taco casserole recipe and serve when the craving hits. Creamy, perfectly seasoned beef and pasta is the foundation and the toppings – – it’s totally up to you.  Instead of baking, I use the stove stop for a quick meal.

Easy Taco Casserole Recipe

penne pasta (not quite one pound)
1 lb ground beef
1/2 to 3/4 pkg taco seasoning
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup chopped red bell pepper
12 oz pkg shredded Mexican-Style cheese
1 cup creamy French Salad Dressing
1/2 can sliced black olives
1/2 cup sour cream

Topping Ideas

1 cup sliced grape tomatoes
1 cup roughly crushed tortilla chips
chopped green onion
1/2 cup sour cream
hot sauce

Cook the pasta according to package directions and drain.  Cook the ground beef until no longer pink, drain and return back to skillet.

Add the cooked pasta, taco seasoning, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, cheese, salad dressing, black olives and 1/2 cup sour cream.  Mix and heat thoroughly.

Serve with dollop of sour cream, grape tomatoes, tortilla chips, snipped green onion and hot sauce.
