Grab this shrimp taco recipe and in no time flat create a tasty meal with hardly any effort. Want the shrimp spicy? You got it. Great slaw too.
The spices are general amounts and if you want more or less, please feel free.
1 lb large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 TBS oil
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp taco seasoning
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Place the shrimp in a bowl. Mix the oil, cayenne pepper, chili powder, sea salt and black pepper together and pour over the shrimp. Toss to coat evenly.
PREHEAT the oven to 250 degrees. Add a little oil to a skillet and heat each side of the tortilla for a 30 seconds and then place on a baking sheet and keep warm in the oven until you are ready to eat.
Choose the coleslaw you want to have below:
1/2 cup sour cream
2 TBS finely chopped cilantro
2 TBS fresh lime juice
Mix together in a small bowl and keep in the refrigerator until ready to use.
