Pittsburgh salad is a steak and french fry salad drizzled in a sweet and sour vinegarette (one version).
This Pittsburgh salad is so versitile. You may use grilled steak or chicken, french fries, waffle fries, shoestring potatoes, potato wedges or curly fries. Dip the fries in ranch dressing.
Cheese? You may add shredded cheddar or mozzarella and I love blue cheese crumbles.
