This oven fried chicken recipe produces a tender and juicy piece of chicken.

RECIPE FOR OVEN BAKED FRIED CHICKEN
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup panko crumbs
1 tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp oregano
2-3 lbs chicken breasts, thighs or legs
In a skillet or cast iron pan, heat the oil and butter and set aside. Meanwhile combine the dry ingredients and place in a large bag.
"Wet" the chicken thoroughly in the hot butter oil mixture and drop into the bag of dry ingredients - shake to cover evenly and place on a wire rack to dry. Repeat on all pieces. Let the chicken sit for 15 minutes.
PREHEAT oven to 375 degrees.
If the skillet is oven proof, you may continue to cook in it. Just dump out most of the butter/oil mixture place the chicken in the pan skin-side down. Bake for 35-45 minutes and turn the pieces over. Bake another 5-10 minutes.
