Easy French Dressing Recipes
OLD-FASHIONED FRENCH DRESSING (Mazola Oil French Dressing)
1 cup Mazola oil
1/2 cup vinegar
1/3 cup homemade ketchup
2 TBS paprika
4 TBS grated onion
juice of 1/2 lemon
2 tsp salt
Mix all ingredients together in a quart jar. Shake well before each use. Store in the refrigerator.
This is a spicy and sweet version that you will love.
SWEET AND SPICY FRENCH DRESSING
5 TBS honey
2 tsp salt
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp Tabasco, or to taste (optional)
1 tsp homemade worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp grated onion
1/2 cup plus 1 TBS vinegar
3/4 cup Wesson oil
1 can condensed tomato soup
Beat well and store in the refrigerator.
HOMEMADE FRENCH SALAD DRESSING
1 cup water
1 cup red wine vinegar
1 tsp white sugar
1 lemon, juiced
2-1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp homemade worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dry mustard
1 garlic clove, minced
1 cup olive oil
3 cups canola oil
Blend the first 9 ingredients in a food processor or blender (no oils).
Now add the olive and canola oils and pulse. Pour into an airtight 2 quart mason jar and store in the refrigerator. Shake well before serving.
Makes approximately 1-1/2 quarts.
