This stuffed head of lettuce is so easy to make, but you will be amazed at the flavor.
Filled with cream cheese, bacon, Roquefort cheese and vegetables. A great meal addition for a special occasion or an simple lunch. Just take out the core, fill it up and slice to serve.

How to Stuff a Head of Lettuce
1 head of lettuce
8 oz package cream cheese, softened
2 TBS Roquefort cheese (or more)
6 slices bacon, fried and crumbled 2 TBS carrot (optional)
1 TBS green pepper (optional) 3 TBS tomato hard boiled egg, sliced for garnish chives, garnish
salt and pepper to taste
Chop carrot, green pepper and tomato. Blend the cheese, crumbled bacon, salt and pepper together. Combine vegetables and cheese
Cut head of lettuce in half, from core down. Remove the core. Hollow
out halves, leaving at least 1 inch for rim. Stuff with mixture. Place
halves together, wrap in waxed paper and place in the refrigerator for 2
hours. To serve it, slice.
