2-1/2 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 medium green bell pepper, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp salt
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, cover and place in the refrigerator at least one hour before serving.
Delicious on sandwiches and provides a perfect crunch when served with grilled food like burgers or hot dogs.
