Monthly Contest #1  "Share Your Meal Hacks"

Homemade meal hacks is a game where you create a meal with ingredients I give you and the best recipe by vote receives a gift.  Imagination comes to play and delicious meals of yours will be posted with your own recipe.


It's dinner time and you haven't thought about what to make, much less look to see what is on hand.  Can you create something out of nothing and are told it tastes great?

Is there a faster or easier way to to: grill chicken, peel an egg, crush crumbs, etc?  We would love you to share that hack and you can win! 

It starts the 1st of every month and the winner is sent a $25 gift card from Amazon.  If you are interested there is another monthly giveaway here.  Just think you could win $50 each month if you entered both contests!

Here are the Easy Rules:

1.  Any pantry items, condiments or spices are okay to add to the recipe.  (ie, "Flour, condensed cream soups, sugar, pasta, rice, eggs, milk, butter, baking powder, ketchup, etc")

2.  Must be a real recipe and not something just thrown together to enter the contest.    Cannot be copied from a website - must be original.  You may enter five times maximum per contest period.

3.  The contest starts the 1st of the month at 12:01 a.m. CST and ends the last day of the month at 11:59 p.m. CST.  Judging will be the first day of the month. Winner will be notified by email.

4.  Your best email address must be on the entry.  If you win, an email will be sent to the email address provided on the entry and you must respond within 72 hours.  If you don't respond I will move on to the runner up and go from there.

  • 1 pound of ground beef (or ground pork or ground chicken)
  • Bacon
  • Leftover Roast Beef
  • Shredded Chicken
  • Bag of Potatoes


  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Loaf of Bread


  • Can of Green Beans
  • Shredded Lettuce
  • Brussels Sprouts
  • Broccoli
  • Onions
  • 1 bonus vegetable of your choice

Frozen Items:

  • Tater Tots
  • Sweet Corn

The list of ingredients above should be used for this entry period.  Don't forget pantry items, condiments or spices are fair game and you can use any of them in your recipe.  See number one above in the Game Rules for example.
