HOMEMADE SEASONED SALT
You are on your way to saving a lot of money when you make your own spice mixes. You can customize this recipe to your own taste.
2 tsp salt (optional)
2 tsp white sugar
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/8 tsp flour
Shake all ingredients in a resealable bag and store in an airtight container.

HOMEMADE TACO SEASONING
2 TBS chili powder
2 tsp cumin
1-1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp seasoned salt, recipe above
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp oregano
cayenne pepper to taste, optional
If you are using this mix for tacos, use 3 tablespoons of this mix per pound of cooked and drained ground beef. Add 1 teaspoon of flour to the seasoned ground beef to thicken it, and 1/4 cup of water and heat everything through.
