HOW TO MAKE JELLO SHOTS

Do you want to learn how to make jello shots? How about a recipe for jello shooters? They are basically the same thing and are very popular at parties. I have several varieties listed below. The first recipe is the basic vodka jello shot recipe...



How To Make Jello Shots


BASIC VODKA JELLO SHOT RECIPE
10 oz vodka
two (3oz) pkgs of Jell-O
2 cups of boiling water
1 cup ice-cold water

Bring the water to a boil and remove from the heat. Pour the packages of Jell-O in the boiling water and stir until completely dissolved. Stir in the ice-cold water and vodka. Pour mixture into shot glasses or paper cups. Let these shots refrigerate at least 4 hours.


AMARETTO SOUR JELLO SHOTS
1 cup amaretto
2 (3oz) pkgs of lime Jell-O
2 cups of boiling water
2 TBS lemon juice

Pour the lime Jello-O into the boiling water and stir until completely dissolved. Add the lemon juice, and allow to cool before adding the amaretto. Pour into shot glasses or paper cups. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.


CARIBBEAN JELLO SHOTS
1 (3oz) pkg of strawberry-banana Jell-O
1 cup of boiling water
1 cup of banana rum

Pour Jell-O into the boiling water and stir until dissolved. Add rum and pour into shot glasses or paper cups. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.


CHERRY COKE JELLO SHOTS
two (3oz) pkgs of cherry Jell-O
1 cup of boiling cola
1 cup of cold cola
1/2 cup amaretto
1/2 cup spiced rum

Pour the Jell-O into the boiling cola and stir until dissolved. Add the cold cola, amaretto and spiced rum. Mix and pour into shot glasses or paper cups. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.


LEMON DROP SHOTS
two (3oz) pkgs of lemon Jell-O
2 cups of boiling water
1 cup chilled lemon vodka

Pour Jell-O into the boiling water and stir until dissolved. Add the vodka and pour into shot glasses or paper cups. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.


MARGARITA JELLO SHOTS
two (3oz) pkgs of lime Jell-O
2 cups of boiling water
1-1/4 cups ice cold water
1/2 cup tequila
1/4 cup triple sec

Pour Jell-O into the boiling water and stir until dissolved. Add the cold water, tequila and triple sec. Pour into shot glasses or paper cups. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.


SOUR APPLE JELLO SHOTS
one (3oz) pkg of sour apple Jell-O
1 pkg Knox gelatin
1 TBS sugar
1 cup Mountain Dew
2 cups of vodka
3/4 cup of coconut rum

In a small saucepan, combine the Jell-O, Knox gelatin, and sugar. Stir in the Mountain Dew and bring to a boil. Take off the heat. Add the vodka and coconut rum. Stir well and let sit for 5 minutes. Pour into shot glasses or paper cups. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Now you know how to make jello shots.

FRESH CHICKEN SALAD RECIPE

3/4 cup homemade mayonnaise
1/4 cup homemade cherry conserve
1/2 tsp curry powder
1/4 tsp salt
12 ounces crushed pineapple, well drained and squeezed dry
1/4 tsp lemon juice
2 cups finely chopped cooked chicken
1 cup finely diced celery
1/2 cup sliced green onion

First combine the mayonnaise, chutney, curry powder and salt. Add remaining ingredients - chill before serving.
