GROUND BEEF RECIPES
These recipes for hamburger are my favorite and most requested, and I want you to try them yourself. Be forewarned as family and friends will beg you for these recipes. I have many more recipes at the end of the page. I have them set up as links so you can just "click-and-cook." Enjoy!
CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup onion, chopped
1/2 tsp homemade garlic powder
1/2 tsp homemade onion powder
5 medium potatoes
2 TBS butter
1/4 cup milk
3 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
PREHEAT oven to 375 degrees and spray a casserole dish with vegetable oil.
Peel and quarter potatoes and cook in salted water until tender. Drain well; add butter and milk and beat to make mashed potatoes. Cover and set aside.
Meanwhile, in a skillet, add meat, onion, garlic and onion powder and cook until no longer pink. Drain well and place in the bottom of the casserole dish. Top the ground beef with the mashed potatoes and spread evenly. Sprinkle with all of the cheddar cheese and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
