The first cook book is based on my secret collection of savory recipes for upland birds. I feel this is something that we need because more people are hunting to fill their freezers. These recipes are exceptional and I include many homemade condiment recipes so you can save a lot of money and eat well too. Let me explain.

I wasn't a happy person when I had to go grocery shopping just to try a new recipe. Frustrated, I compiled items that I used all the time and made substitutes that are better than the commercial brands sold at the supermarket. (Or so I have been told)

Once I started making my own condiments and ingredients, the meals I made were even better. Don't take my word for granted, you must try them yourself. To date, I have over a thousand homemade recipes on my website; just grab a cup of coffee and browse away.

MY HISTORY

I completed my first homemade cookbook and more are in the works. But first a note to you; my readers...

I love to cook. I always have. I was only 10 years old when I started to create and cook my own recipes. That’s when I caught the “cooking bug,” and haven’t been able to shake it since.

I am going to tell you a little bit about myself. I don’t like to share. Especially recipes. My thinking was that no one else should receive compliments from a recipe that I created or tinkered with; and I felt that way for years.

Over the years I’ve learned that life is too short to be stingy. I started to put my secret collection of creations into categories and began sharing them with friends and family. You know what? It felt good, really good. So now I am on a mission to share recipes with as many people as I can.

Over the past 30+ years, I have created, “doctored,” and collected HUNDREDS of new recipes; now available for the first time to everyone.

With the economy the way it is today, I’m all about saving. Why spend hard earned money for things you can easily make yourself? I stress the word “easily.” If you want control what goes into your body, and what comes out of your wallet then you need this book.

RULE #1 - MAKE YOUR OWN CONDIMENTS. Do you realize how much money you will save when you do? This book has many homemade ingredient and condiment recipes. In each pheasant or turkey recipe there are ingredients that you can make yourself if you wish. To simplify the process I have included a page number for the ingredient/condiment called for in the recipe. You may find out as I did that you can customize these already excellent recipes to your own taste, making them even better.

I’ve always been in search of a homemade recipe book that offers a homemade substitute or version of what I need to cook with so I do not have to run to the grocery store every time I try a new recipe. I am offering you this opportunity, and I know you are going to love it! (They don’t call me Miss Homemade for nothing!)

If you hunt, fish and eat what you harvest, you won’t believe how easy it will already be to make a homemade meal. You just can’t beat a meal made entirely with organic game and homegrown vegetables. What could be more healthy for you and your loved ones?

Experiment with these cookbooks. Season more or less, it’s up to you. If you want healthier versions, purchase low-fat ingredients and bake it instead of fry. Recipes are personal. I want you to prepare them the way you and your family are accustomed to; that way they become your very own customized family recipes.

So go ahead and make something wonderful for your family. Create memories now. Life is TOO SHORT. Take your kids out fishing or hunting and then enjoy a great meal together. I guarantee they will never forget it and neither will you.

Here's To Feathers, Fur, Fins and Food,

Raschell Celleste
