I call these candy bar cookies, and boy are they delicious. You may use any of your favorite candy bars for this recipe.
CHOCOLATE CHIP PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
1-1/4 cups shortening 2 cups white sugar 2 cups homemade brown sugar, packed 4 eggs 2 cups homemade peanut butter 1 TBS corn syrup 1 TBS molasses 2 tsp homemade pure vanilla extract 1/4 tsp salt 12 ounces chocolate chips (dark, semi-sweet or milk chocolate) 1 Snickers candy bar, chopped 1 Heath candy bar, chopped 1 cup M&M's 6 cups flour 1/4 tsp baking soda
PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees.
Combine shortening and both sugars in a large bowl and blend well. Add eggs, and mix well after each addition. Beat in peanut butter, corn syrup, molasses, vanilla and salt. Fold in chocolate chips, chopped candy bars, and mix well. Mix the flour and baking soda together and add to the mixture.
Make 2 inch balls and flatten with the bottom of a glass. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Yum is all I can say.
3/4 cup homemade mayonnaise 1/4 cup homemade cherry conserve 1/2 tsp curry powder 1/4 tsp salt 12 ounces crushed pineapple, well drained and squeezed dry 1/4 tsp lemon juice 2 cups finely chopped cooked chicken 1 cup finely diced celery 1/2 cup sliced green onion
First combine the mayonnaise, chutney, curry powder and salt. Add remaining ingredients - chill before serving.
